It's all about practice and knowing where your cervix is. As long as the cup is covering your cervix you should have minimal leakage.
It took me a while to get it right.

I <3 my Diva Cup!!

The only way I've found to prevent leaking is to let it open up earlier and then slide it up the rest of the way. They say you can "spin" it once it's in place, but I'm must have pretty good muscles up there *grin* because once it's in, I can't spin it at all. :)

Think about buying a few Lunapads as your back up. Then you won't even have to buy a pack of pads every 4 months. Lunapads last about 5 years and at the rate you'd use them for backup, probably WAY longer!

And I no longer soak or rinse or anything. Just pop them in my washer with the rest of my clothes!

Megan, are you doing your kegel exercises? If not, you need to start. Kegels should help prevent leaking.

I've so wanted to try this. I got pregnant, with Gabriel, shortly after hearing about the Diva Cup so never got around to trying it or even buying it. Thank you so much for sharing you experience with us.
